Ohio July Market Report

The market is moving despite the end of the home buyer tax credit! MORE homes sold in July 2010 than in June 2010. The July Market Report in Ohio for single family, residential homes in Montgomery, Greene, and Warren counties in and around Wright Patterson Air Force Base shows some changes. The average days on market in July 2010 was 92, which is 15 days slower than the Real Living Realty average days on market (77 days). See the perfect home? Buy it, don’t delay because it will probably be gone tomorrow with the record low interest rates!

JUNE 2010

  • Homes Sold – 551
  • Average Bedrooms – 3
  • Average Square Footage – 1,851
  • Average Listing Price – $148,383 
  • Average Selling Price – $142,599 (96% sale price/listing price)
  • Average Days on Market – 80 
  • Homes Sold Price Range $3,000 (Upper Dayton View) – $925,000 (Oakwood)

JULY 2010

  • Homes Sold – 576
  • Average Bedrooms – 3
  • Average Square Footage – 1,812
  • Average Listing Price – $138,133  
  • Average Selling Price – $130,861 (95% sale price/listing price)
  • Average Days on Market – 92 
  • Homes Sold Price Range $2,900 (W Dayton-S of Third) – $1,150,000 (Mason)
